Hey! I'd really like a laptop to help with my school work. I also want to get into the world of podcasting and web design and such. I would love a Macbook, but I discussed it with my parents, and they're too expensive. If I get into a career in the computer design and stuff, I'll be sure to get a Mac. =]
For now, I'd just like to have something that is reliable and can get the job done. I'd also like some fun! I like the features in the HP tx2500, like the touch screen and the tablet option(i've wanted a tablet for a while, too!), as well as the finger scanner. I love the colors available in the Dell Inspiron, and the built in web cam. I'm not sure how good those computers would be, though, because they both run on Vista, and I'm pretty sure one of them comes with a max of 1GB of memory or RAM or something. Isn't the minimum needed to run Vista well 2GB?
I'd just like something that won't frustrate me, something fun, and dare I say Pretty. =]
If you REALLY think a Mac would be the absolute best thing for me, please say so. They have refurbished Macs, and the cheapest one is about the price range we can be in.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I'd like to spend under $1000.
