I would like to get a tablet PC to use just for taking notes in class. I already have a laptop, so it doesn't have to have a lot of memory or play DVDs or anything like that. It just has to have the following:
(a) A tablet/touch-screen. I want to be able to write notes because I learn better that way but I also want my notes to be on the computer so I can search them/etc. later.
(b) Should be no more than $500! So far I have only seen tablets over $1200! And that is way outside of my price range. I'm a college student here, and not the lucky kind with parents who pay for everything.
(c) A battery so it doesn't always have to be plugged in, but battery life doesn't have to be super long. 2 or 3 hours should be good enough.
That's pretty much it. I saw the eee PC T-91 which looks pretty much like what I want but it's not out yet and there's no price, anyway.
Any ideas?
I am looking for the name of a SPECIFIC computer, not just the suggestion to get something from a brand that makes tons of different types of computers or the suggestion to look at netbooks with no suggestion as to what specific one I should look at. Thanks!
