Apple showed off its latest invention, the iPad, in San Francisco on Wednesday. The hand-held, touch-screen tablet can display books, play movies, and surf the net. Apple hopes the brand-new iPad, available world-wide in late March, will carve out a new category of must-have electronic devices.
