The tm2 offers a super sensitive and accurate multi-touch experience like the upcoming iPad, only it uses the familiar and extremely popular and powerful Windows 7, so its not just limited to using applications from an single source application store or only one at a time. While not tuned to be a touch only interface on the 12.1" screen of the tm2 you'll find most applications, even those that are older or not touch aware, work just fine.
