I have a HP Pavilion tx1219us tablet PC. The touch screen stopped working and does not respond to any touch.?

My HP tablet PC tx1219us has stopped responding to any touch. I am unable to calibrate it. Just get the cross hairs, but will not respond to the touch of the pen.

Would greatly appreciate your help.
