Can I put a REGULAR windows XP disk into a TABLET PC ?

I have a newer version of WINDOWS XP Pro and want to install it in a Toshiba TABLET Satellite that already has WINDOWS XP HOME. Will i still have tablet options if I upgrade with the XP pro. Or does it have to be a tablet pc edition ?
