Will there be touch screen for laptops any time soon?

I'm just asking out of curiousity because They have the touch screen for desktop right now by HP called the TouchSmart.

I know there are tablets pc's, but obvious they don't seem as efficient as the touchsmart.

If anyone has some insight on this please share.
