What’s wrong with my Bamboo Pen Tablet?

I got this tablet only like, 2 months ago. When I first used it, when I touch the pen on any place of the tablet, the cursor would atomatically move to that place on the screen. For example, the cursor was at the bottom left corner and I tap the upper right corner, the cursor would be at the upper right corner.

But now, when I use the tablet, it doesn't do that anymore. I can't relly move around as freely. No matter where on the tablet I touch, the cursor stays where it is. So I practically have to drag the cursor to where I want it be.

And I also have another question. How do you know if your pen pressure is not working? I don't know if that ever worked for me.
